2025 Kia EV Day: Kia to Showcase Future EV Innovations and Strategy

Kia Corporation is set to host the 2025 Kia EV Day later this month at Tarraco Arena in Tarragona, Spain. Building on the success of its inaugural event in Korea in 2023, this edition will highlight Kia’s latest advancements in electric mobility. The event will showcase new EV models, cutting-edge concepts, and innovative technologies, reinforcing Kia’s commitment to sustainable transportation and strengthening its global position in the EV market.

At the 2025 Kia EV Day, the brand will emphasize its leadership in Platform Beyond Vehicle (PBV) technology, redefining EV usability with highly flexible and modular designs. The event will witness the global debut of the Kia EV4, which was first showcased as a concept at last year’s EV Day. Additionally, Kia will unveil the PV5, its first dedicated PBV model, previously seen as a concept at CES 2024. The brand will also introduce the Concept EV2, a compact electric vehicle that expands its dedicated EV lineup.

Kia has released teaser images and video clips, offering a glimpse of its upcoming EV models and their distinctive design elements. Inspired by the brand’s Opposites United philosophy, the EV4, PV5, and Concept EV2 showcase a futuristic styling approach. These models highlight Kia’s commitment to advancing electric mobility with cutting-edge platform technology. Designed for both personal and commercial use, they reinforce Kia’s ambition to lead the global EV market by catering to diverse customer needs.

At the upcoming Kia EV Day, the company will outline its comprehensive PBV (Platform Beyond Vehicle) strategy, detailing its vision, product lineup, and launch plans for the PV5. A key highlight will be Kia’s dedicated PBV platform, a modular skateboard-style battery electric architecture designed to support a variety of vehicle body configurations. Senior Kia executives will take the stage to unveil the EV4, PV5, and Concept EV2, while also introducing the brand’s expanded electrification roadmap. This strategy aims to redefine the global EV market, with the event’s official video set to premiere on the Kia Worldwide YouTube channel in March.
